Puerto Rico is approximately 100 miles long but just 35 miles wide long. Despite the small size of the island, the diversity of terrain, climates and ecosystems is incredible. A stunning mountain range runs through the center of the island from west to east. The highest portions of the mountains are covered with lush cloud forests which in turn are home to an amazing variety of birds and animals. Within just 50 minutes of San Juan you can hike rainforests, relax on sun drenched beaches, go hiking through El Yunque, or descend into Cathedral Cavern.

If you don't want to leave San Juan, finding things to do is not a problem. San Juan is probably the most interesting city found in the Caribbean. The city offers a little bit of everything: a beautiful colonial section, great beaches, excellent restaurants, bars, and shopping, gaming, and quite a bit more!

Heading out to other towns and villages will allow you to get to know the people, experience the culture, and experience all the Puerto Rico has to offer.
