SA
San Juan: Methodology Used In The Spanish Classes
SA San Juan
uses as The Communicative Approach to teaching Spanish. This
approach focuses on teaching individuals how to communicate
in those types of situations that one encounters in daily
situations.
The Spanish language instructions create
a learning environment that promotes the following skills:
speaking, reading, writing and listening. In the classroom
setting, Spanish students will cover items they know, move
to less structed activities and finally to open activities.
This Spanish language learning process helps to make sure
that all students have a strong foundation of the grammar
so that they can master the language in communicative situations.
An important part of the learning process
is to also expose students to cultural aspects of Latin America
and Puerto Rico in specific.
SA San Juan has 6 different levels ranging
from Introductory Spanish to Advanced Spanish. Spanish language
courses are offered Monday through Friday and for 4 classes
per day. If you are the only Spanish student at your level,
SA San Juan will provide 3 lessons per day of private instruction
instead of 4 lessons per day of group instruction. Each group
class will have a maximum of 6 Spanish students. Books are
not included in the cost of the program. You can however place
a deposit on the books necessary and upon return of the books
at the end of your Spanish program, you will receive your
deposit back.
